Welcome to T.J. Caldwell Books!

For most of my life, I’ve dreamed of becoming a published author. After years of military service, raising a family, and pursuing a career, retirement has finally given me the opportunity to turn that dream into reality.

I’m a retired United States Air Force veteran and have been married to my husband, Rusty, since 1979. We’re blessed with one daughter, three wonderful grandsons, and a rescued Havanese pup who has firmly established herself as part of the family.

I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior, and my faith influences how I see the world and the stories I choose to tell.

My novels explore ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances. I’m drawn to stories about human struggles, difficult choices, consequences, forgiveness, and the possibility of redemption.

My debut novel, Tipping Point, examines what happens when expectations and pressures become too much for one young boy to bear, and how a single devastating decision changes the lives of everyone around him.

My next novel, Vanished on Mission, follows an American doctor whose medical mission to Africa takes an unexpected and dangerous turn.

I don’t write about perfect people or easy answers. I write about people who stumble, struggle, and sometimes discover that hope and grace are found in the most unexpected places.
